Some of them traded their pieces for something else.. Try to recover at least one part of the map, if you can.. Part of the map shows where the treasures are hidden, so you can find some of them.. Talk about your business in the presence of a parrot.. They act like pigeons.. A parrot is able to deliver anything and everything it hears.. If you find an untamed one, do your best to make it your own.. You can teach them how to listen to conversations.. They backstab you whenever they get a chance, even though they pretend to be your friends.. When you feel that the treasures are near, set traps for them.
