Our Planet Therapy Collective NFT

Our Planet Therapy Collective is a project founded by a husband and wife duo living in Hawaii.. To help develop or regain skills to engage in activities that are meaningful to the individual, occupational therapy is a healthcare profession.. Tyler has been working with children of various diagnoses in the clinic and home settings for years, and has always had a bigger vision of moving them from an indoor to an outdoor environment.. Since 2015, Tyler's wife has been battling multiple chronic illnesses.. After going through a lot of health scares together, Tyler and Hailey decided not to focus on the "safe" and "conservative" way of doing life.. After living in various places along the way, they settled down in Hawaii in 2021, and Tyler decided to incorporate his passion of organic farming with his career of occupational therapy.. The local keiki on the island of Oahu were given development opportunities thanks to the work of Hailey and Tyler.. Children can learn the basics of organic farming practices, eat clean and raw foods from the land, explore in nature, and observe their surroundings in these workshops.. Tyler does an amazing job incorporating sensory integration and play-based occupational therapy into tasks on the farm, where children of all levels learn various developmental skills, as well as providing education to parents on how to assist their children along the way.. One of the goals of the project is to raise money, so it is encouraged that families with keiki of any level come to these workshops, diagnoses or not.. The growing keiki have missed out on many skills.. Huge gaps in development have been created by mask mandates and Quarantine.. The focus of this project is to get children nationwide back into nature, reaping the health and developmental benefits nature provides, and exploring the outside world with all of their senses.. The long term goal of Our Planet Therapy Collective is to forge partnerships with farms nationwide in order to expand these workshops outside of the state of Hawaii, to allow children everywhere the chance to participate in these one of a kind workshops.. A therapeutic organic farm for children with or without disabilities is in the works.. Being a holder in this community is more than just a PFP and utilities - you are helping shape the future generations to come..
