According to a Thursday story by Meta press, the Mark Zuckerberg-led company Instagram has started rolling out its non-fungible token (NFT) over 100 nations in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas. Included in this is the ability to upload digital goods created on the Flow blockchain as well as the addition of support for Coinbase Wallet and Dapper wallet connections. The popular social networking app Instagram is the target of the initial launch.
According to the company's updated page, all one needs to do to publish an NFT on Instagram is link their digital wallet. As of Thursday, third-party wallet connections with Dapper Wallet, Trust, Rainbow, MetaMask, and MetaMask were either complete or will be soon. Flow, Polygon, and Ethereum are the blockchains that are now supported. It costs nothing to share or post a digital collectible on Instagram.
CoinGecko data shows that FLOW has gained by about 44% in the last day, with almost all of that growth coming in the wake of Meta's statement this morning. With the most recent price change, FLOW has increased by over 72 percent over the past 30 days and is currently trading at $2.76 per token.
As instagram's integration with Meta's photo-sharing service grows, collectors will now be able to post their verified Flow NFTs on their accounts. The software was first made available to a small number of users in the United States in May; since then, it has been expanded to include countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Users can use the functionality to choose which NFT collectibles to present as proof of ownership and to link a suitable crypto wallet to do so, with the owner and original creator being immediately credited with the item.
